New to Church – what to expect
When and Where:
Every Sunday morning at 11am, right next to Dumfries Railway Station; satnav DG1 1LU.
What to Expect:
We want you to come as you are and enjoy yourself. So, when you get here, make yourself at home in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
You can expect a casual, friendly environment with a big (but not embarrassing) welcome.
You can come as you are. Jeans, t-shirts, shorts; whatever works for you! We have people from many different nations and cultures, so you won’t feel like the ‘odd one’
We’re relevant and authentic – and we care about all ages.
You’ll hear messages that you can apply to your daily life; you won’t be made to do anything embarrassing!
There will be live music consisting of contemporary, fast and slow songs, with the words on screens.
Your children can stay in the whole service or leave for Kids Church around 11.30am. The service will finish around 12.30pm. You’ll get a free coffee/tea or soft drink afterwards and usually there are some cakes on the go too!
